King Kaka who was a key guest at the annual Bill Gates and Melinda Gates Foundation, Goalkeepers met up with Hot 97’s radio hosts, Ebro Darden, Peter Rosenberg and Laura Stylez where he talked about his charity,  The King Kaka Sanitary Bank Campaign and the Kenyan hip hop OGs.

Rapper King Kaka gave props to E-Sir, Sauti Sol, Abbas Kubaff,  Ayub Ogada(who he has worked with and Kanye West has sampled his ‘Koth Biro’ record on his ‘Ye’ album), Johnny Vigeti, Nyashinski, Chris Kantai, Chiwawa, Kalamashaka just to mention a few mentionable hip-hop OGs in the game when Ebro asked him to corroborate the names he was reading off the internet when he was searching for the Kenyan hip-hop greats.

King Kaka also talked about his position at the Blaze’s BYOB which is sponsored by Safaricom and gave props to Safaricom for giving back to the youth by mentoring them.

King Kaka had this to say about the interview, ” I had the opportunity to show the world what Kenya has to offer. I am glad that I get to represent my country and fly our flag high. I mean, I am just a young man from Eastlando and I was sitting down with some of the biggest names, I am honored.”

Tracy Morgan who is a well respected and revered comedian came on and talked about being humbled to be a part of the upcoming King Kaka’s album dubbed ‘Eastlando Royalty’ where he is featured on one of the records in there which he says it’s going to be big once it officially drops.

“… this joint right here that am on with you, is self-explanatory to me, you know, you got to understand, Africa is the cradle of civilization, so to be on this with you, it’s an honor, for me, we talked about that on the hallway, ”

“this one is for all our ancestors, I don’t care which color you are, where you come from, everything was broke off out of Africa.”

“It’s gonna be dope boy! you gonna be big boy! you understand! I’m co-signing on that!” Tracy Morgan said to King Kaka on the Hot 97 radio studio as soon as they began to talk about his album ‘Eastlando Royalty’ that is set to be released officially on November 30th, 2018.”

“… you got to understand, I was given an opportunity to be able to work with King Kaka on an album that’s gonna be worldwide around the world.”

“It’s gonna be heard in Africa! for the ancestors that were brought over here, we’re going back home.”

“We came here in the bottom of ships and chains and all that but we are going back in Cadillac, let’s go black in a Cadillac, let’s go back platinum” Tracy Morgan added talking about how privileged and honored he is to work with King Kaka on his upcoming studio album ‘Eastlando Royalty’.

King Kaka has made history as the first East African artiste to be interviewed on the coveted HOT 97 radio show in New-York.
