Kidero Finally Takes A Retaliatory Action Against Sonko Following Last Week’s Fight With Him

Nairobi Governor Dr. Evans Kidero and Mike Sonko were involved in a scuffle at House committee on County Public Accounts and Investments last Wednesday June 15th.

Sonko called Kidero a murder claiming he had the evidence to prove the Nairobi Governor killed a woman whom he was involved in land battle with.

Sonko’s outrageous claims irked Kidero so much that he decided to confront the Nairobi Senator. The two were separated before a real physical fight erupted.

Kidero now claims he will not appear before a House committee if Sonko is not punished for insulting him during a sitting on Wednesday.

The Nairobi Governor has threatened to move to the Supreme Court to challenge the parliamentary immunity given to members, in order to clear his name.

Kidero has written to Senate Speaker Ekwee Ethuro, asking him to take action against the Nairobi senator, failure to which he would not attend any other sitting called by the House committee on County Public Accounts and Investments.
