Khaligraph Jones finally got to meet up with the Ghanaian rap superstar Sarkodie before he left for Tanzania for his ‘No Pressure’ album media tour after he spent a few days in Kenya promoting his 7th studio album.
Sarkodie was featured on Khaligraph Jones hit record dubbed ‘Wavy’ that proved that the two rappers are on the upper echelon when it comes to hip hop in Africa winning new fans across Africa; Khaligraph Jones won new fans over from West Africa as Sarkodie won fans from the East African region.
The most important thing that happened unprecedently in two countries; Ghana and Kenya, is when Sarkodie trended on Twitter in the top 3 in Kenya while Khaligraph Jones trended on Twitter on the top 3 in Ghana, and Nigeria(he was the topic of conversation on Twitter in Nigeria not because of his ‘Wavy’ record but because he dissed BlaqBonez).
These two rappers are established in their own rights as some of the best top rappers who are holding down the African hip hop scene to high standards and it was about time they got to meet face to face in Kenya, and that’s what they did.
Sarkodie got to meet Khaligraph Jones in person right before the 2-time BET Awards winner left for Tanzania for his ‘No Pressure’ media tour. The two kept it short and sweet, they didn’t give anything up on their meet-up on social media, as a matter of fact, Sarkodie didn’t post his photo with Khaligraph Jones on his social media handles, Khaligraph Jones did though.
Sarkodie who is currently in Tanzania has worked with Harmonize on the studio album.
It’s the second time the two have worked together, the first time was when Harmonize –when he was then signed to Wasafi Classic Baby(WCB) Record label– dropped the visuals for his hit single dubbed ‘DM Chick’ released 3 years ago.
