Khaligraph Jones is clearly Lupita Nyongo’s favorite Kenyan rapper

It’s no secret that Lupita Nyong’o is an ardent fan of rap and hip hop music and that fact was tested a few years ago back where she shared a video of herself freestyling inside a moving taxi, rapping about how proud she is to be a Kenyan, born in Mexico, being a WildAid ambassador for elephants and Africa and being appreciative and proud of her dark skin.

To keep it short and sweet, Lupita Nyong’o broke the internet with that freestyle a couple of years back. Not all of your favorite actors can freestyle, with an exception to Shia Labeouf who even impressed rap and hip hop’s critic and connoisseur, Sway Calloway on his show.

That being said, it’s safe to say the Academy Award-winning Mexican-Kenyan actress and film director, Lupita Nyong’o is a fan of rap and in the recent months, she has taken a keen interest in our very own Kenyan rapper from the 19-60, Khaligraph Jones with her always playing one of his hit records dubbed ‘Yego’ that was released a few years ago but still continues to stay relevance to this date.

The first time Lupita Nyong’o showed love to Khaligraph Jones’ music was at the Oscar 2019 Awards where she shared an Instagram story video of herself jamming to Khaligraph Jones’ ‘Yego’ record as she was getting prepared for the coveted and glorious event.

This time around, the ‘Us’ actor also shared with her millions of fans across the globe via Instagram the same song as she was going for an interview at the View show together with her brother.

This is the second time she has shared a video of herself bumping to Khaligraph Jones’ song and we love her for it because, it might open so many doors for Khaligraph Jones to penetrate the global if not the American market since that’s what he swore to do this year, he even re-branded and called himself ‘Mr. International’ just to show how serious he is in conquering the world through his music this year and going forward.

“Shoutout to @lupitanyongo for always Bumping Yego, That Jam is a Classic, Now I wanna Go and watch that new Movie.”

Khaligraph Jones said and also promised to go watch Lupita Nyong’o latest movie, Us that has everybody talking about it globally.

It’s only a matter of time before Khaligraph Jones gets spotted by international rap artistes and land a deal and/or collabo of his life that will change the game today as we know it but in the meantime, the Kayole rapper is super happy and grateful about Lupita Nyong’o playing his music and sharing it with the world.
