Kayvo Kforce has one of the hottest LPs out of 2020 and there’s no way you can sleep on this project if you are into real, authentic, hip hop music straight from Africa that isn’t filtered or watered down.

Kayvo Kforce calling his studio album ‘FATHELA’ was rather poetic, at least after you get to stream the project, you will understand why the Namba Nane founder and owner dubbed it ‘FATHELA’.

For some who might not know the actual meaning of Fathela, it is a sheng word that refers to a Leader, Father and/or Father figure, Mentor above many other things that it might mean, to some, it might even mean the OG depending on how you use it.

On this project, Kforce -who has been representing Kibera for years and respected in the streets in the same breath as he is by other fellow rappers and artistes in the game- might as well be the FATHELA since on this project he reminds everyone: haters, doubters and fans alike that he’s the best to ever do it in case we might have forgotten.

The ‘FATHELA’ studio album is a fusion of mostly urban hip hop beats and real raps touching on various subjects/issues, mostly general that resonates with the common man as most songs ought to.

Some of the inspirations from the songs come from his own personal outlook on self, society, and the local Kenyan hip hop music business as we know it today.
