Karun cries foul over mistreatment by promoters at Omah Lay’s concert

Karun has had enough of the foul treatment local artistes reportedly usually go through as soon as booked international artistes hit the stage in the shows that they’ve been booked.

Karun who performed at the just-concluded Pizza and Wine Festival show that brought Nigeria’s Omah Lay as the headliner to perform live on the coveted live show had something to say this time.

The sensational, talented singer/songwriter and vocalist took to social media to explain by literally showing a video of how she was mistreated by the promoters and organizers of the event as soon as Omah Lay got to perform for the revelers who came to see him perform live his hit songs.

“Promoters you gotta stop treating artist like trash backstage as soon as an international artist arrives.

They literally pushed me and my brother and sister and my team into a tent to make way for Omah Lay,” she captioned the video she took at the event live. The video has since been taken down.

Other artistes who also got to perform at the gig that was scheduled for two days; 30th and 31st October 2021 were; Nviiri the Storyteller, Bananaoverdose and Nikita Kering’.

In recent pasts, established artistes have been calling out events promoters for always and constantly treating local acts as if they were nothing as soon as their international headliner hits the stage.

As for the ‘Glow Up’ hitmaker, she reached her boiling point after she was mistreated backstage by events promoters that as a ripple effect forced her to expose on video as real-time evidence of how local, already-established artistes usually get treated by the promoters.
