Karen Nyamu said it was love at first sight when she first met Samidoh in 2019 at a political event where the Mugithi singer was performing.
Speaking in an interview on the Convo Youtube channel, Nyamu revealed that when she met Samidoh for the very first she did not know much about him and wasn’t a fan of his music.
However, when she met him again at another event she made sure they exchanged contacts as she just couldn’t afford to let him loose.
“We met at a political event where he was performing, but we didn’t exchange numbers. Then we met again at a political event nikaona alalah, anaweza. Sijawahi sahau hio shoe game kwanza. The rest is history,” she said.
Karen Nyamu said during the two times she met Samidoh, people were following him around. Asked who made the first move, Nyamu refused to answer the question – but from her reaction it’s obvious she made the first move.
“Ni kikulike nitakulenga. Things started flowing,” she said.
“Nichali mpoa, ako na roho poa and ni mfunny. He is a great soul doesn’t pretend. He is authentic. has a different vibe I have never had in my life,” Karen Nyamu added.
Even though she occasionally attends Samidoh’s gigs, Karen Nyamu noted that cannot appear in her baby daddy’s music videos.
“I cannot appear in his music videos. We do not mix love and work,” she said.
Reacting to the time when Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua called out Samidoh to put his house in order after she fought Samidoh’s wife in Dubai, Karen Nyamu noted that it was his baby daddy’s fault to contain the situation.
“It was a lapse on his (Samidoh’s) part,” she said.
