Multi-talented rapper Kapella who is a former one-half member of the Coola Gang has something to be happy about after he finally got his degree.

Kapella recently graduated from Daystar University where he was studying Communications and Electronic Media.

The rapper who is also a renowned videographer, Editor, and even a Record Producer hopes that his graduation will act as an inspiration to fellow rappers to finish their studies as well and have something to fall back on if –and that’s a big if– their music career doesn’t make them win as they intended to.

It took the rapper four years for him to finish up his degree but he noted that it wasn’t an easy thing to do but it was an interesting journey altogether.

“It took me a total of 4 years but I wasn’t doing them back to back,” the rapper said in part.

“I’ve been doing it on and off for a while, It took me a total of 4 years but I wasn’t doing them back to back.

I couldn’t focus in between dropping projects and recording albums working with video clients etc,” he went on.

Kapella becomes among the selected few rappers in the country who holds a University degree.

Having a degree is one of the most important things that anyone can have, especially rappers and entertainers who can comfortably say they have a backup plan just in case the music business doesn’t work out for them.

Congratulations are in order Kapella!

Congratulations.

I am a Pan-Afrikanist to the core and love to let the world know what they are missing in Africa. I might do that through music and some interesting posts from time to time so please bare with me.

I will always be real though, that's a guarantee.
