Nollywood veteran actor Junior Pope Odonwodo has been confirmed dead after a boat that he was on together with his crew capsized.
The veteran actor shared a short clip of himself with a boat operator who was driving the boat rather fast which made him call him out on driving the boat real fast a few days ago as he told his fanbase.
“See me lamenting… The risk we take to entertain you; crossing river 9ja yesterday with no life jacket…… Na wahoooooo …. Who does that ?? [sic],” the actor captioned the video.

Reportedly, the actor and three of his crew were returning from a movie set when their boat had a mishap on the Anam River in Anambra State. He was pronounced dead as soon as he arrived at St Joseph’s Hospital in Asaba.
Before his death confirmation, numerous online posts were purporting that he was revived after the boat he was on capsized.
His dear wife and three children survive him.
