Juliana Kanyomozi has overcome fear of intimidation by state machinery to join her counterpart Bobi Wine in advocating for a better Uganda.
Many Ugandan celebs would rather keep quiet than criticize the government for fear of being intimidated by the government.
Those who dare challenge the incumbent Yoweri Museveni are often treated to arbitrary arrests, show cancellations and at times even extrajudicial execution.

Juliana Kanyomozi however recently decided to speak up against police brutality as witnessed in the country in the runup to January 14th 2021 polls.
“Everytime you push and test people’s tolerance, there will be a breaking point!!!! Uganda is better than this. Stop the violence,” a defiant Kanyomozi tweeted.

Kanyomozi’s sentiment came just days after police and the military roughed up journalists covering Bobi Wine’s campaign.
Wine also lost his bodyguard Francis Senteza Kalibala who was ‘deliberately’ run over by a military truck.
I regret to announce the murder of my security team member Francis Senteza Kalibala aka Frank. He was deliberately ran over by military-police truck, No. H4DF 2382 which blocked us in Busega on our way to Rubaga to get Kasirye Ashraf emergency medical attention.
