Jua Cali, the godfather of Genge, and Gengetone music in Kenya has some good, amazing news for his loyal fans and the fans of the Genge and Gengetone genre.
Jua Cali has announced to his fans that he’s about to bless them with his fifth studio album after a couple of months since he released his last body of work.
Jua Cali has been consistently putting out new music, working with the new artistes in the music industry today in hopes of passing the torch to the next Genge and/or Gengetone maestro, the more reason for you to look forward to his upcoming studio album which will make him become one of the top artistes in Kenya to have five studio albums.
So far we have King Kaka, Octopizzo, and Sauti Sol who both have five studio albums.
The king of Genge didn’t disclose any tangible thing about being the upcoming body of work.
He hasn’t disclosed the name of the album, the artistes he has worked with on the project, or how many tracks are there to expect, not even a tracklist.
His fans do not care about that information at all, all they’re looking forward to is the best compilation of music that he’s yet to drop after making the official statement on social media.
“Genge, the true authentic Kenyan sound. Mziki ya watu mtaani. 5th album on the way,” is all that the veteran, prolific, consistent rapper shared on social media.
The talented rapper cannot wait for you to listen to his fifth studio album now that he has announced it.
