JB Masanduku: I don’t eat on the day I know I’m going to perform

Stage fright is something that even most seasoned performing artists still experience, it doesn’t mean that they are not up to the task but rather that they just care so much about impressing the audience.

Comedian Nathan Kimani alias JB Masanduku deals with stage fright differently. He does not eat at all because if he does it will be a disaster.

JB usually experiences anxiety and panic caused by the thought of performing. While starting out as a comedian, JB would vomit just before going on stage to perform.

The comedian opened up his experience with stage fright after making a comeback on Churchill Show. He said that nowadays he wouldn’t eat at all a day before he goes on stage to perform.

“Back when I was starting out in the comedy industry I would vomit before I perform because of the tension. But nowadays I’ve improved. I don’t eat on the day I know I’m going to perform,” said JB Masanduku.

Adding that;

“I missed the stage and I’m glad Churchill brought me back. My heart beats for the stage. It’s not easy to be out of the game for a while because fans forget you.”
