Jacque Maribe hints at making TV comeback five months after resigning from Citizen TV

Jacque Maribe resigned from her job at Royal Media Services (RMS) in June this year citing ‘personal reasons’. The journalist might make TV comeback if her word is anything to go by.

Monica Kimani’s murder case dealt Jacque Maribe’s career a heavy blow. Maribe was arrested on September 29th 2018 in connection with the brutal murder of the businesswoman.

She spent a whole month locked in prison cell as her lawyer fought to have her released on bail. Maribe was finally freed from Langata Women Prison on October 30th 2018.

Maribe’s bail conditions forbid her from anchoring news, the embattled journalist opted to quit her job at Citizen TV in June after eight months of working behind the scene.

The former Citizen TV anchor has been bedeviled by Monica Kimani murder case for over a year now, but she is slowly regaining control of her life.

Maribe recently hinted at making TV comeback while responding to a fan who offered his legal services to have her back on air in light of a court barring her from appearing on live TV.

“Maribe I’m a lawyer, could I have the order restraining you from live TV revised a no fee? DM,” asked one wyclifee anyona marangeti.

In her response, Maribe assured wyclifee anyona marangeti that she has everything under control and that she will be back soon. She however didn’t reveal any further details of her planned comeback.

“Eti we will be back,” wrote Maribe.
