2015 was a dark year for popular music video director J Blessing and his ex wife Winnie Wambui Naisula Ole Siameto alias Chantelle.
The cruel hand of death robbed J Blessing and Chantelle their 7-month-old son Kylie sometimes in August 2015. The toddler succumbed after short illness.
J Blessing and Chantelle broke up a year later in 2016 after the death of their son, the two were married for six years before they decided to go their separate ways.
The popular music video director has now opened up about the death of his son Kylie. Speaking during an interview with Word Is, J Blessing narrated the circumstance leading to his son’s death.
“When he was sick, he was given an immunisation injection and a few weeks later, he died. During that time I was going through a lot in life, and I remember when doctors talked to us about his health status, I was like, I’m sure God is going to heal him,” said J Blessing.
J Blessing further said that he really prayed hard for God to heal his son. The tot however died just after J Blessing went home to pray from him, shortly after he visited him in hospital.
“I went home that night and prayed. Around 8am, I told God, ‘Please heal my son’. Because people talk of God doing miracles in their lives and this was the time I wanted to see Him doing something visible. Five minutes after the prayer, I got a call from the hospital that my son had died,” said J Blessing.
