“If I was a killer I would have joined Al Shabaab” Inspekta Mwala issues half-hearted apology after killing a pedestrian

Davies Mwabili, popularly known as Inspekta Mwala is not sincerely remorseful for causing the death of 35-year-old Samwel Mwaki.

The Citizen TV actor was driving from Kaloleni town on Mazeras highway on Monday night August 26th 2019 when he tried to overtake and veered off the road, hitting Samwel Mwaki who succumbed to his injuries.

Police have since determined that Inspekta Mwala was drunk when he caused the accident. According to police, the actor was driving under the influence when he hit Samwel who was crossing the road, killing him on the spot.

Inspekta Mwala on Friday August 30th tweeted his position and apology to Samwel Mwaki’s family. The Citizen TV actor however issued a half-hearted apology.

In his apology, Inspekta Mwala blamed the media for focusing on him when other people were also dying from hunger. He further said that if he was a killer he would have joined Al Shabaab.

“Am sorry for what hapened and pole to the familly, if am a killer then i,my poit is… lets b constractive guys some of our pple are dying of hunger and hamjaichangamkia hivi,,,waaah lets sitdown n think,” Inspekta Mwala tweeted.

Inspekta Mwala later pulled down the tweet after facing public backlash.
