Ian Nene admits that he was a spoilt brat until his conversion to Hinduism a few years ago and turned over a new leaf.

Speaking in a video posted on his Instagram account, Ian said he didn’t have direction in life until he started reading Hindu scripture – Bhagavad Gita.

“In my life I really didn’t have a manual. I was a wild kid, my parents really couldn’t tell me anything. And I did what the hell I wanted to do.

As time went on I realized actually I don’t know what I am doing with my life.

I made such rash decisions, decisions that seemed unchangeable, decisions that I really couldn’t do much about.

Tarnished my relationships, my circumstances my reputation… I felt like I was tarnishing my life. Up until few years ago I came in contact with Bhagavad Gita and got to understand that I can actually change all that around.

Situate myself with the right mentality, have the right principles, and the right manual to live my life. Bhagavad Gita Transformed me, made me to be a better person,” Ian Nene said.

Nene further said renowned people like the late Bobi Collymore, Bob Marley, and 2Pac Shakur all sought guidance from Bhagavad Gita.

“What did the Bhagavad Gita do for me?? Since I’m gonna be taking a break from Instagram again (kinda seeing how I can do better in my life without it) just wanted to share something I had done based on a question I was asked on the Bhagavad Gita.

From successful people in Kenya like Bob Colymore (the late) upto world renowned big shots like Will Smith, 2Pac Shakur and Bob Marley, many great souls have had contact with the Bhagavad Gita.

If there’s something good you wanna do for yourself, is find a copy of the Bhagavad Gita As It Is, and Read it and absorb the keys to life which you Deffo need !”
