Constitutional Lawyer and Senior Counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi has taken shots at Hon. Raila Odinga.

Via his Twitter account, he says that Raila is planning demonstrations because he was denied a handshake and power share.

The Kenya Kwanza team led by President William Ruto won the 2022 general elections with a sizeable margin from their Azimio La Umoja team.

Ahmednasir Abdullahi says, “So, Hon Raila wants to start riots and mass looting in our streets just because President William Ruto denied him a handshake and a share of executive power?”

Raila has insisted that Azimio will use all available means, including calling for widespread protests, to halt the expulsion of the four commissioners famously referred to as the Cherera 4.

“Honestly, grilling cherera4 is only fanning animosity between KK government and Azimio supporters. Lest you forget, UDA won by marginally 200k votes against azimio.

If I were Ruto I would strengthen IEBC operations. But oustering dissent voices in IEBC team is not a solution,” says Irungu Githaiga.

The commissioners—Juliana Cherera, Justus Chang’aya, Irene Masit, and Wanderi Kamau—have been promised punishment for attempting to thwart the decision of the people in the 2022 general elections where President William Ruto was declared the winner by IEBC chair, Wafula Chebukati.
