Just days after learning the death of an international icon, Kobe Bryant, the Kenyan music scene is currently in mourning after the sudden death of one of the veteran record producers of this generation, Sniper.
Sniper is known for working with the best of the best rap artistes and artistes in general in the music industry and his passing is a huge loss to the music industry in general, especially the hip hop scene where he was respected for his craft.
Reportedly, on Tuesday evening the record producer engaged in a disagreement with a fellow JKUAT( Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology ) student who is alleged to have struck him on the head with a blunt object which saw Sniper getting rushed to a Thika hospital.

The record producer who is known for producing King Kaka’s hit records like ‘Bangaiza’ sadly succumbed to his injuries which were allegedly caused by internal bleeding he suffered from getting hit by a blunt object to the head.
Taking to social media, King Kaka real name Kennedy Ombima was among the many artistes who immortalized the young, promising record producer, Sniper –who has resumed his studies at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology– by letting the world know how talented he was as record producer and how he helped him produced a lot of his hit records.
“Woke up to more sad news. The producer behind my songs; ‘Bangaiza’, ‘Kaza Moyo’ and many others, a friend and a very infectious personality is no more. Goodbye Sniper. Tutaonana Baadaye” King Kaka shared on social media.
At the time of his death, Sniper was a student at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology in Juja.
