Tanzanian music sensation Harmonize, also known as Kondeboy, took to social media to honor his father following the triumph of his album launch over the weekend.

In a heartwarming post, the Konde Music Worldwide CEO proudly introduced his biological father, Mr. Abdul Kahali, to his fans and followers.

Accompanied by a picture of his father, Harmonize captioned the post with “Meet my daddy” along with a heart emoji, signifying his deep affection and respect for his father.

Mr. Abdul Kahali has largely remained out of the public eye for several years, maintaining a low profile away from the media spotlight. However, he played a significant role in Harmonize’s upbringing, instilling in him strong values and spiritual teachings.

In his hit song “Never Give Up,” Harmonize revealed the challenges he faced with his father’s disapproval of his secular music career.

He shared that his father, a devout Muslim, had expressed a preference for him to engage in religious activities rather than pursue a career in worldly music.

Despite these obstacles, Harmonize expressed his love and admiration for his father, acknowledging the spiritual guidance he received during his upbringing.

He reflected on the possibility that following his dreams might have caused tension with his father’s expectations, but affirmed his pride in calling him father.

Harmonize’s father, a Madrasah teacher, played a pivotal role in shaping his son’s spiritual beliefs and values.

In a previous interview, Harmonize mentioned his aspiration to fulfill his dream of undertaking a pilgrimage to Mecca, underscoring the influence of his father’s teachings on his spiritual journey.

In 2019, during his tenure with the Wasafi Label under Diamond Platnumz’s stewardship, Harmonize demonstrated his appreciation for his father by gifting him a new 4X4 SUV, symbolizing his gratitude and love for the man who has been a foundational figure in his life.
