Controversial businesswoman, socialite, and artiste Hamisa Mobetto disclosed the reasons behind her doing music the way she’s doing it at the moment.

The beautiful mother of Diamond Platnumz’s child says that she’s only making music as a hobby and not as a way of sustaining herself through the art because a lot of music promoters can’t afford her for shows thus the reason for doing what she loves which is music just for the sake of it because it’s one of her hobbies that she cannot drop anytime soon.

Hamisa Mobetto laments how promoters are keen on asking for an artiste’s rate card but when she gives them, they cry foul and say that she’s expensive. She’s of the opinion that promoters should go for the affordable bunch of artistes before asking for her performance rate card in the beginning.

“So how do you request an artiste to come and do a show, and then when they share their rate card, you claim they are too expensive and dismiss them saying that you can get other artistes. Why don’t you go to those other artistes at first?” the artiste romantically involved with Maybach Music founder and CEO Rick Ross said.

Reiterating the poor decisions usually made by promoters, she stressed that she normally doesn’t appreciate the back and forth because this way, she doesn’t need to worry about getting paid for performing because she’s been termed expensive by a lot of promoters and thus, her reason of doing music as a hobby.

I don’t like the back and forth at all, that’s why I decided to pursue my musical career as a hobby. This way, I don’t have time to worry about being paid to perform because I know they can’t afford me, we will end up just arguing,” she argued.

Hamisa Mobetto had a handful of songs out on YouTube and streaming portals which have performed quite well. She has are numerous songs that have performed well on all major DSPs since she released them.
