Kenyan music chart in October 2023 was completely dominated by Tanzanian and Nigerian musicians with Guardian Angel and Msanii Music Group being the only musicians from the country to make the cut.
YouTube released statistics for most streamed musicians on its platform for the month of October 2023.
Diamond Platnumz emerged top followed by Zuchu at position two while Guardian Angel took position three on the top 10 chart.
Msanii Music Group emerged at position nine. 
Overall, Msanii Music Group emerged as the only Kenyan music outfit that was ranked among the most stream musicians in Kenya for the past 10 months.
Msanii Music Group, a SDA choir, was the only Kenyan music outfit to make the cut on the YouTube list having emerged 7th with 50 million views.
Msanii Music Group is a record label based in Nairobi that produces Gospel Music in Kiswahili often sang by a choir of 9 singers.
Diamond Platnumz is the undisputed king of Kenyan airwaves as he emerged number one on most streamed artistes on Kenyan YouTube from a period of 10 months – January to October 2023.
The Wasafi boss emerged position one with 122 million views, followed by Rayvanny with 87.4 million views while Zuchu took position three with 82.5 million views.
Out of the 10 artistes on the list, seven are Tanzanian, two are Nigerian (Ayra Starr and Ruger) with only one Kenyan music group making the cut in the country’s own YouTube airwave.
