It’s almost safe to say that Christmas came early this year when we finally get to confirm that indeed the all boy band group, Le Band we coming back together after they took a brief hiatus as a group to concentrate on individuals’ obligations, both in music and otherwise.
Just a couple of days back, the group made it official that they are back together and they even have new projects on the pipeline and that they can’t wait to share new music with their fans, now that they are back together again.
Kenyan music is on safe hands, no doubt about that now that the Le Band group are back together.
To some extent, their fans usually don’t know the members of the group on a personal level and it seems that the [Le Band] members knows that thus they decided to simplify everything for them[fans] via social media.
For starters know that Le Band comprises of three members namely; Fidel Eli Shammah aka Charisma aka The Luhya Heat, Ken Mwendwa a.k.a Mr Sugar and Spice, and Joel Maina a.k.a Chokoraa Mjanja.
Ken Mwendwa
Mr Sugar and Spice! He is responsible for the low notes hit in our songs. He is an Engineer, Digital marketer and is very passionate about music. He is also a music arranger and also an instrumentalist.
He is also working on some solo projects which he is yet to announce their date of release.
Joel Maina
Meet the cool calm and collected Joel a.k.a Chokoraa Mjanja who is 1/3 of Le Band. Joel is a record producer, singer and song writer. He is also a multi-talented instrumentalist: he plays the guitar, piano, bass guitar among others.
He also has a solo project out it’s called ‘Wera’ and releasing more of the same in the near future so be on the lookout.
Fidel Eli Shammah
Fidel a.k.a Captain Charisma a.k.a Mr Sababisha a.k.a Mr Luhya heat is a humble and talented vocalist and King of energy and hype!
He has several solo projects including the ‘Unavyonipenda’ hit record that features Mbithi, ‘Tuthi nawe’ featuring Njerae with promise of releasing some more heat hits in the near future.
