Armed men stormed the house of the parents of Neymar’s girlfriend Bruna Bianciardi intending to kidnap the footballer’s newborn daughter.
The gang stormed the residence of Bruna Bianciardi’s parents in the municipality of Cotia on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, according to R7 newspaper reports.
Bianciardi’s parents were tied up and robbed in their home in Sao Paulo, Brazil during the incident.
According to Bianciardi’s parents, the armed men were looking for their newborn granddaughter Mavie.
Neymar and his girlfriend were not at home at the time of the home invasion.
R7 reported that Bianciardi’s parents were tied up in their own home, but are not thought to be injured from the attack.
Footage uploaded by Brazil’s Municipal Civil Guard (GCM) shows three suspects arriving to the house in a car. The GCM revealed that one individual, currently in custody, is a resident of the same condominium as the Bianciardis, thus granting them access to stage the invasion.
That suspect remains the only one detained by police. The other two managed to flee the scene after stealing luxury handbags, watches and jewellery.
