Gachagua leads tens of MPs to fundraise for Samidoh as he starts new chapter

Top government echelons led by Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua gathered at Parklands Sports Club for a fundraiser for Samidoh.

Samidoh launched his foundation on November 30, 2023, to help the needy in society after running philanthropic initiatives for four years.

“In the last Four years, through Guitar ya Samidoh Initiative, we have supported people through Education, Feeding programs,scouting and helping upcoming artists to record their music among other activities. And Now ladies and gentlemen the vision has grown big and we will be launching Samidoh Foundation tomorrow on the 30th of November at the Parklands sports Club,” Samidoh said ahead of the launch.

The event at Parklands Sports Club was a dinner and fundraiser for Samidoh Foundation which came to life last night.

Gachagua praised Samidoh for launching his foundation while making reference to the musician’s humble background.

“From a humble background to a super Maestro in the Music Industry, the story of Samuel Muchoki alias Samidoh, is a beautiful one.

“It is a story of resilience, hope and an inspiration to not only budding artists, but also to the youth-that they can make it in life, through hard work, focus and ofcourse prayers.

“Samidoh continues to stand out and to inspire us through his music, innovation and creativity. We celebrate him and are very proud of him.

“It was a pleasure to join Samidoh and rejoice with him as he launched The Samidoh Foundation whose focus is to help the vulnerable , the youth and in particular, the boychild. Giving back to Society is a Mark of Honour and the Right Thing to do,” Gachagua said.

A host of leaders joined Gachagua to celebrate and witness Samidoh’s milestone. They included Principal Secretaries Alex Wachira (Energy) and Eng John Mbugua (Transport), Senators Betty Montet (Nominated), John Methu (Nyandarua), Karen Nyamu (Nominated), Wahome Wamatinga (Nyeri), Maureen Mutinda (Nominated) Karungo Thangwa (Kiambu), Joseph Githuku (Lamu) and Mirajj Abdillahi (Nominated), Woman Representatives Faith Gitau, (Nyandarua) Muthoni Marubu (Lamu), Betty Maina (Murang’a), Rahab Mukami (Nyeri) and Njeri Maina (Kirinyaga). Others were Geoffrey Ruku of Mbeere North, Augustine Mwafrika (Roysambu), Benjamin Gathiru alias Mejja Donk (Embakasi Central) Eric Wa Mumbi (Mathira).
