Ferdinand Omanyala Omurwa sets a new 100M National Record at the Tokyo Olympics

Ferdinand Omanyala Omurwa has a lot of Kenyans rallying behind him after his stellar performances at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

Ferdinand Omanyala Omurwa has set a new National Record of 10.00 seconds getting the third position in the 100m semi-final.

He came third after Fred Kerley(9.96), Andre De Grasse(9.98), at the Men’s 100M semi-finals.

Ferdinand Omanyala’s dream came true after sprinting and beating Yohan Blake of Jamaica, his role model. Unfortunately, he’s missed out on the final, the semi-final 3 was quite fast.

He might have failed to reach the 100M finals but he’s content for now after he beat his role model. Kenyans are proud of him for achieving such a feat at the Olympics. Kenyans are already talking about him already trending under “Ferdinand Omanyala” on Twitter.
