Femi One goes in on her latest ‘Hiyo One’ record as produced by Provoke to remind and sure people including fans and other rappers know who is the queen in the Kenyan rap scene.
What a way to make a statement in the rap realm.
Femi One has declared herself the queen of Kenyan rap and hip hop with ‘Hiyo One’ record even if that wasn’t her intension to begin with. The record doesn’t have any hooks, and/or bridge, it’s just bars and bars and bars and she goes in on this beat and proves yet again why she’s the badass female rapper in the game today.

I would have to admit that I was disappointed that the record is just 2 minutes long, this is a record that she could have went in for five minutes and still makes sense in each verse but her idea of keeping it short and sweet also works because now I want to see and/or listen to more of her project.
I hope she has a project on the pipeline after releasing such a banging hit record like ‘Hiyo One’ which also has an interesting expressive music video which stresses even more how talented a rap artiste she is. We need this energy on her next projects going forward.
Femi One might just have changed the female rap game as we know it with this record, am certain most fans would love to see other female rappers step up to ‘Hiyo One’ record with their one statement hit record. And just like that, the female rap game has been put on notice, Femi One just made a statement without warning at all.
“The entire vision that I had for this video has come to reality. I delivered well on the bars so I am sure the song will leave my fans pleased. I won’t describe it more for y’all, you simply have to watch it and see what I am talking about” Femi One said on creating the video.
