Femi One has achieved an incredible feat after being recognized by the most prestigious music award in the world – Grammy Awards also known as Grammys.
Grammys are presented by the Recording Academy of the United States to recognize outstanding achievements in the music industry. They are regarded by many as the most prestigious and significant awards in the music industry worldwide.
Femi One expressed her joy after discovering that Grammys had named her among the best female artistes in Africa in the rap category.
The celebrated Kenyan female rapper uploaded screenshots from the website and Instagram post by Grammys that recognized her among the continent’s best female rappers.
In the pictures, Grammy announced Femi One as one of the best performing female artists in Africa in the HipHop category.

Femi One earned bragging rights after the Grammys nod. She expressed her pride saying that she is now working for the nominations that may come.
“Still not over this . Imagine your Work being recognized by the GRAMMYS !!! What a WOW!! Let the sleeping masses keep sleeping , we keep pushing the boundaries . Being recognized is the first step now letâs work for a nomination . We keep working because truly you never know who is watching đ¤,” Femi One wrote.
Femi One is a talented rapper whose music transcends to listeners. She has several collaborations with other artistes such as Nyanshiski, Otile Brown, Mejja, Naiboi, King Kaka among others.
Her biggest song came in 2020 at the height of Covid-19 pandemic as she collaborated with Mejja to drop the ‘Utawezana’ hit song.
