Diamond Platnumz’s sister Esma has revealed that her family tried to marry a woman for the Wasafi boss but he turned down the arranged marriage at the last minute.
Esma opened up about Diamond’s flopped arranged marriage just a few days after she got married to her new husband businessman Jembe One.
Jembe One and Esma appeared on the Masham Sham program on Wasafi FM where she revealed that they as a family have tried all efforts to convince Diamond to settle down in marriage but it was all in vain.
Esma reve aledthat there was a time when they as a family sat down and came up with the idea of finding a wife for Diamond by force.
She said that Diamond agreed and that they even paid the dowry. Esma noted that her brother showed off the wedding dress in Turkey but changed his mind as the wedding day got nearer.
“Diamond tushaongea na yeye sana, si unajua kila jambo mwenyezi Mungu ndiye analipitisha. Tunaweza tukamlazimisha aoe halafu hajataka kesho keshokutwa mtoto wa wenyewe amuache?…Tulijaribu kumlazimisha aoe lakini tukaona muda wake mwenyewe haujafika,” Esma said.
“Kulikuwa kuna mwanamke mmoja anaitwa Sofia, alipelekewa mpaka mahari kwao. Ilikuwa bado siku sisi twende tujitambulishe kwake rasmi kwenye uchumba kama familia. Na yeye mwenyewe Diamond alikuwa ameshashona nguo za sare Uturuki na kuandaa kila kitu na mwanamke alikuwa ameshafika mpaka hapa. Lakini ilipofika karibu Diamond akaja akajifikiria nahisi siko tayari, alimfuata yule mwanadada nimekaa nimefikiria lakini nimeona siko tayari, nahisi muda wangu bado hujafika,” she added.
Esma said Diamond’s decision to turn down the arranged marriage angered their mother Sanura Sandra so much that she even threatened to curse him.
“Mama alimsukuma mpaka akafika mahali akamtishia kama mimi sio mama yako… lakini alikaa na mama akasema hawezi kumchukua mtoto wa watu na baadae akaja kumtesa na hivyo familia ilimuelewa,” Esma said.
However, Esma did not specify whether the incident happened before her relationship with Zari and Tanasha or after she broke up with the two who seemed to love each other and be in a serious relationship.
