Diamond’s sister Ezma Platnumz was married as a third wife to Msizwa Maulid before their marriage ended after only three short months.
Esma got married to Msizwa Maulid on July 30th, 2020 and by November the same year, she had already divorced him.
In a Q&A session on her page, Esma who married Maulid said she opted to end her relationship since her randy husband was hitting on every woman on his Instagram page.
Speaking to journalists during the launch of his hotel on September 30, 2022, Maulid claimed that Diamond’s sister was the one who seduced him, claiming that Esma asked him to marry her.
“Mimi ndiye nilitongozwa. Sio mimi nilienda kumtongoza yeye. Hiyo kabisa nakwambia. Aliniambia anataka nimuone ili nimsitiri
He also rejected claims that his marriage with Esma was just a business and insisted that they were really married.
“Tulioana kwa kweli lakini ikatokea sintofahamu ikawa hivo na huwezi kulazimisha kitu ambacho kimetokea,” he said.
The businessman insisted that he was not the reason for their separation. He noted that he has two other wives who have stayed with him for many years, unlike Esma who stayed for a very short time.
“Mimi sipendi matatizo. Umri niliofikia sijawahi kukaribisha matatizo. Kama Mtu alikuja akaondoka yeye ndiye mwenye matatizo, sio mimi,” Maulid said.
