Eric Omondi has made a name for himself over the years, he’s now a brand, and an award-winning African acclaimed comedian, and his own boss living the best life that money can buy.
It wasn’t always like that from the beginning, the comedian who broke the internet after gaining some weight and going ahead to challenge Khaligraph Jones for a boxing bout has opened up about how his tenure with Churchill real name Daniel Ndambuki at Churchill Show was for the time duration he was there.
According to the comedian who is sick, irked, and tired of comedians calling out Churchill for refusing and/or failing to pay them for their stand-up performance has opened up about how his working arrangement with Churchill.
Eric Omondi as it turns out, worked for Daniel Ndambuki at Churchill Show for 3 whole seasons without pay and he doesn’t hold it against Mwalimu King’ang’i who also doubles as a radio host in Classic 105 together with Maina Kageni every other week morning.
“Churchill gives you a platform and I can say that with moral authority. Honestly, it’s something that is so annoying, it’s nonsense for guys to say that. A teacher will teach you and give you the knowledge, then leave.” Eric Omondi said in part.
“Churchill has never called anyone, most of us we go there. It’s called Churchill Show, he is busy doing his who then you came and he gives you a stage to sell yourself.” he continued.

Eric Omondi went on to open up about how comedians requested a meeting with Churchill to talk about payments and all.
He bluntly said that he asked Churchill in front of the comedians if he’s ever paid him. Omondi was never paid for 3 long seasons of Churchill Show.
“There was a time the comedians asked for a meeting and requested me to be there, and I asked them in front of Churchill if he has ever paid me, he has never for three seasons.”
Eric Omondi reiterated that he didn’t need the money because by then he had already built his own brand and making millions on his own thanks to Churchill giving him a stage and opportunity to sell his brand to the fans, and corporate world.
If anything, Eric Omondi strongly believes that he instead ought to pay Churchill for putting him on.
“I didn’t want the money, by the time I was finishing the first season, I was making millions doing adverts.
I knew it was the number one show in the country, I was so very conscious of that and I sold myself. I think I need to pay Churchill” the award-winning comedian added.
