Valerie Masibo knows too well what the brutality of domestic violence means after enduring a serious beating from her husband Nafatali Shamwala Lusuli.
The 29 years old Valarie was left unrecognizable and disfigured after the hubby assaulted her repeatedly against a backdrop that she is pregnant.
Mr Lusuli allegedly brutally battered by his wife for more than three hours over alleged misuse of Kes 500.
All this was because he alleged that the food was yet to be prepared by Valerie yet he had left her with 500 shillings to buy food and prepare.
Valerie was taken to Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital for treatment after he sustained facial injuries and had one of her ears almost chopped off.
On Monday August 13th Mr. Lusuli appeared before chief magistrate Charles Obulutsa and denied assaulting Valerie on August 10th in Kipkaren.
Nafatali was released on a Kes 300,000 bond with a similar surety.
