Kenyan top gospel artistes are one of the revered, respected and emulated artistes in our music industry today and they also are the artistes with the most money today in the music industry. As much as that might be true, most of the upper echelon gospel artistes are regarded to have sold out to the mainstream music forgetting their humble beginnings of how they came to be who they are today and thus diverting from singing gospel music that we once loved them singing but instead chose to do mainstream, somewhat secular music in the name of doing urban gospel music.

One artiste who is not swayed by the pressure of doing “mainstream gospel music” that appeals to the youth is one Eddy Njenga who has stuck to doing legit, emotional, real gospel music cutting across all ages and releasing records that praises the Almighty God as it is supposed to be and his recent release dubbed ‘Ulinipenda’ is that record that speaks to the inner you and makes you feel appreciative of how God has been taking care of you without you even knowing.
