Before yesterday, nobody knew who Hyzah really is, absolutely nobody, at least on social media but after he shared his first post yesterday freestyling to some beats booming from a portable speaker that he was carrying, everything started looking out for the upcoming artiste.
For starters, Hyzah is actually very passionate about his craft and his love for music is not debatable, you can feel the passion oozing through him by just watching him perform his freestyle songs.
As of yesterday, Hyzah had as little following as 2 followers on his official Instagram account but then after the number one sought-after rapper on the planet Drake followed him, he woke up to some thousands of followers from nowhere and everywhere.

Drake has always been known for making stars internationally. Once an artiste gets attached to his name, it’s inevitable for them not to blow up. For instance, Wizkid’s name got international recognition after Champagne Papi worked with him on his studio album.
Since then, Wizkid became an international superstar, selling out an arena in England and all.
Drake might have just done that to the upcoming artiste, Hyzah who as of now doesn’t have any song to his name, at least not yet.
Drake followed him on Instagram, and a few hours later, Hyzah’s online presence grew exponentially and he’s yet to release a song. Well, I guess that’s the true power of Drake’s believing in you.
On the bright side, Hyzah has promised to release his debut studio-recorded single as soon as possible, so you don’t have to wait any longer but in the meantime, you’ll have to make do with these phenomenal freestyles that have since gone viral on social media across Africa.
