Taking to social media, Don Jazzy shares photos of his wedding day where he married his best friend Michelle. He was 20 years old then.
Over the years, Don Jazzy has always been considered as the oldest bachelor in the music industry yet, refusing to settle down with anyone despite his achievements and accomplishments in the music industry.
He recently bought another mansion the other day for himself making him one of the top entertainers who has multiple mansions across Nigeria.
It’s reported that he even has a direct line to Kanye West himself. He can call Ye anytime and the multiple Grammy Award-winning artiste can pick up.
Now that’s a musical success.
Don Jazzy has finally opened up after 18 years of keeping us in the dark about his marriage to one Michelle, his best friend that he has nothing but praise for.
“For so long everyone keeps asking me when am I getting married? Well truth is almost 18 years ago I was 20 and I got married to my best friend Michelle @yarnstaswitch and it was beautiful.” Don Jazzy shared in part.
Don Jazzy went on record saying that he was the one who caused the marriage to fall apart because of his music ambitions.
His music ambitions made him concentrate more on his music than on his marriage.
He has nothing but pure love for his ex-wife Michelle to this day. He said that he loved her very much and loved the idea of being in a marriage with her because she had and still does have a beautiful soul inside her being beautiful inside and out.
Don Jazzy blames his music for the failure of his music. His music became a priority over his family.
“I loved love and I loved marriage. Michelle is soooo beautiful inside and outside with such a soft heart. But then me being so young and full of dreams I went and [expletive] it up cos I was giving all my time to my Music. Music became priority instead of my family. “ he went on.
Don Jazzy who is known for multiple hit records that might take an article of its own to list them all disclosed that the marriage only lasted for 2 years which saw him getting divorced to the love of his life at the tender age of 22 years old. Jazzy went further to say that he’s taking his time to find a beautiful woman like Michelle who he loved from the moon and back.
“We got divorced when I was 22 and it hurt. I am still very much in love with my music and I wouldn’t want to marry another and fuck it up again. So I’m taking my time.” He continued.
Don Jazzy who has worked with notable musicians in the world, not only in Nigeria says the reasons why he came forward with this crucial information about his personal life now is because he thought it wise to include this part of his life after his sit-down, tell-all interview with Ebuka that he recently had.
“Why am I just saying this now?? I really like to keep my relationships private actually. Past or present. But I was watching the bounce interview with Ebuka which is almost like a tell-all interview, and I felt bad skipping this huge part of my life. So yeah make una no vex o. 🏃🏿♂️🏃🏿♂️🏃🏿♂️” Don Jazzy concluded.
Don Jazzy’s ex-wife Michelle took to social media to corroborate on everything that Don Jazzy had said about her and even thanked him for the kind words he said about her.
Michelle Jackson who is based in London, United Kingdom went further to say that ever since Don Jazzy tagged her in his tell-all social media post, she’s received nothing but love from everybody in Africa, with most of the love coming from Nigerians.
