DJ Poizon Ivy supports the ‘Play Kenyan Music’ movement by playing Ethic’s song in America

DJ Poizon Ivy the DJ

DJ Poizon Ivy continues to put on the Kenyan music to the limelight even without getting asked by anyone to do it. The Kenyan DJ living in America is the official DJ for Dallas Mavericks and she made Kenya proud by playing yet another Kenyan record, this time by all-boys group, Ethic. She played their hit ‘Position’ record that features The Kansoul.

This is the second time DJ Poizon gets to play a Kenyan record on a Dallas Maverick game after she played King Kaka’s ‘Dundaing’ record which is off his recently released album dubbed ‘Eastlando Royalty’.

With all the talk that has been in the country for almost a week now about media personalities, radio presenters and DJs playing and supporting Kenyan music, DJ Poizon Ivy has clearly walking that talk with action rather than words and the best part of it all is that she’s supporting the Kenyan music miles away from the country while most DJs in Kenya can’t and/or won’t play local content.
