DJ Moh Spice takes over Kriss Darlin’s former job at NTV after gun drama that nearly ruined his career

Nicholas Mugo Mwangi alias DJ Moh Spice has landed a lucrative job at NTV two months after he was caught up in a messy gun drama that saw him arrested after public outcry.

Moh Spice was arrested on August 14th 2019 at Space Lounge Club along Ngong Road after a photo of him seen with a pistol tucked under his belt went viral on social media sparking public uproar.

The mix master as found in possession of a Steyr pistol and 174 rounds of ammunition after detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) arrested him.

Well, DJ Moh Spice has now landed a job with NTV just when most people were thinking he is radioactive and that corporate wouldn’t want anything to do with him.

DJ Moh Spice is taking over DJ Kriss Darlin’s former job as the new host of NTV’s weekly reggae show Jam Rock. Last month NTV terminated Kriss Darlin’s contract after he joined active politics to contest Kibra by-election.

Kriss Darlin co-hosted the NTV reggae show every Saturday after the 9pm news bulletin alongside Miss Katiwa. However since Kriss Darlin was shown the door, Miss Katiwa has been hosting Jam Rock solo.

Now Miss Katiwa will be joined by DJ Moh Spice who is yet to be officially unveiled at the station. Sources within Nation Media Group (NMG) also indicates that Jam Rock is rebranding, the show will be called Jam Down reggae show after DJ Mo Spice takes charge.

“Following DJ Kriss Darlin exit, we’ve settled on DJ Moh Spice as his suitable replacement but in a new show called Jam Down Reggae Show which he will co-host with Miss Katiwa who has been amazing so far,” a source within NMG revealed.
