DJ Maphorisa has repossessed his Mercedes G Wagon and Porsche that he had bought for his ex-girlfriend Thulisile Phongolo who is an actress.
The South African mix master in currently facing assault case in court that stems from his breakup with Phongolo.
In May 2023, the actress filed a case against the award-winning DJ and Amapiano producer, whose real name is Sonnyboy Sekowe, after he allegedly beat her.
Phongolo claimed that DJ Maphorisa assaulted her during an argument at her home in Sandton, Johannesburg.
As a result, Maphorisa was reportedly arrested and held overnight at the Sandton police station.
The mix master was released on a cash bail.
As part of his bail conditions, the court ordered DJ Maphorisa not to have any direct or indirect contact with Phongolo.
DJ Maphorisa fetched all the cars he gifted the actress during the course of their relationship.
A source has told Zimoja that the DJ repossessed his Mercedes G Wagon and Porsche that he had bought for Phongolo immediately after he was released from custody.
The mix master first appeared in court on 14 June, however, his case was postponed as there were no state representatives during the proceedings. Unfortunately, the case had to be postponed once again to 12 July.
