David Kamau aka DJ Bonez has opened up about his dating life with Kamene Goro before they got married in April 2023.
Speaking on his podcast together with Kamene and Obinna, DJ Bonez revealed that he was in a two-year relationship with another woman before he met his current wife.
Bonez further defended his wife about the allegations of ‘stealing’ him from another woman, explaining that she had already separated from his former lover.
The mix master also made it clear that he has been married only once in his life, which is to his current marriage with Kamene.
“I have never married before. At this time, I am legally married for the first time. There is that of come-we-stay and there is an official marriage,” Bonez said.
Bonez pointed out that a man having a child with a certain woman does not mean that they were married.
“Kamene is not a husband-snatcher. Even my ex never did, I had told her everything,” he said.
Last week, Kamene revealed she met her husband during a visit to the Coast, and for them, it was not love at first sight.
“We met in Mombasa, we didn’t like each other at first. At that time Bonez’s friend had a birthday party, he has a club. Later I returned to the club with my former co-presenter. Bonez once said I was an adulterer. I was young then,” she said.
Kamene said he has known Bonez since 2015.
