Bahati and Diana Marua were set to get married in a white wedding on December 12, 2023, but the planned nuptial was canceled.
The couple has been living together for the past six years after they got married in a low-key traditional ceremony held on October 20, 2017.
The duo met in July 2016 when Bahati was shooting a music video for his song ‘Mapenzi’ and they fell heads over heels in love.
The couple went big on their anniversary celebration this year. They celebrated seven years together on October 20th.
As part of their 7th anniversary celebration in October this year, Bahati promised to marry Diana in a white wedding which was originally slated for December 12, 2023.
The singer even paid dowry for Diana to pave way for their planned white wedding.
However, the wedding was never to be and now Diana has since publicly expressed her yearning to get married.
In her recent post, she shared photos of herself and Bahati as she expressed her longing to get married in a white wedding.
“I can’t wait for the day I’ll say yes I do to my best friend. I Love You Baby ❤️ 2024 is gonna be #THEBAHATIS year 💍💃🏻,” Diana Marua wrote.
