Once again, Diana Marua has candidly shared details about her past, eliciting mixed reactions from some of her fans who question her transparency despite being married to Bahati.
During an interview with Dr Ofweneke, Diana revealed that she had once been in a relationship with two men simultaneously: one residing abroad and the other in Kenya.
She disclosed that her overseas boyfriend would provide financial support for rent, a situation that her local boyfriend appeared to accept without objection.
“I once had a boyfriend while I was also dating another man who lived abroad. The overseas boyfriend would send me money, and I would inform my local boyfriend about it. Surprisingly, he was okay with it, and we used the money to pay rent. During video calls with the overseas boyfriend, my local partner would discreetly step aside while we flirted, unbeknownst to him,” Diana recounted.
Diana and comedian Ofweneke also discussed various types of relationships during the interview.
This isn’t the first time Diana has shared insights into her past, which has sparked mixed reactions from her followers.
Previously, Diana mentioned that she used to frequent clubs with friends from Thursday to Monday, engaging in numerous road trips to various social spots across the country, solely for enjoyment.
She confessed to never attending church and typically sleeping in from Sunday to Monday.
Bahati, her husband, jokingly added that during their dating days, he would pick her up from many of her late-night outings, where she would feign sobriety.
“Of course, before I met Bahati, I was living a lavish lifestyle. I never used to attend church. My weekends started on Thursday and ended on Monday before we took off our high heels. We would go on road trips the entire weekend, visiting Naivasha, other towns, and returning home,” she reminisced.
Diana also admitted to dating numerous affluent men in the past to ensure financial security.
“At some point in my life, I dated men for financial gain because I lacked a stable income, and all I desired was a comfortable life,” she revealed.
Bahati and Diana have cultivated their brand by allowing their fans a glimpse into their personal lives.
“All I wanted was a comfortable life. I used to date men for financial support; I had individuals who would provide money for me, pay my rent, and even buy me household items and clothes,” she explained.
Adding, “Money was never an issue for me. I don’t mean to boast, but let me tell you something: even when Baha (Bahati) first met me, and we used to hang out, he would see me driving different cars every time we met. One day, he asked me where I got all these cars from. At that time, we didn’t know each other that well.”
