Diamond Platnumz, Rayvanny, and Mbosso’s YouTube channels were hacked and later deactivated after hackers posted some content that violated community guidelines.

The three singers’ YouTube channels which have millions of subscribers were hacked by Bitcoin scammers who later changed the channels’ names to ARK invest.

A statement issued by WCB Wasafi’s head of digital department Kim Kayndo confirmed that the hacking happened and that they had lost control of the YouTube accounts.

“Following the hacking of Diamond Platnumz channel on Sunday, and the hackers going. live. Today, it has been deactivated by YouTube management after the hackers violated YouTube guidelines.”

“We are already in communication with YouTube to resolve the issue. Let’s be patient everything will be okay,” said Kim Kayndo.

Kayndo later announced to the public that they had managed to regain access of the previously-hacked YouTube channels after it was hacked by Bitcoin scammers.

“Usiku wa Kuamkia leo channel za wasanii wetu Diamond Platnumz na Mbosso zilikuwa hacked na Bitcoin scammers. Tumefanikiwa kuzirudisha salama na poleni kwa wote mliokutana na tatizo hili. Tuendeelea kuwasiliana na YouTube creators kwa msaada Zaidi,” Kim said on Sunday. (The statement excluded Rayvanny’s YouTube channel because he is on his way out of Wasafi).

It’s now being claimed that hackers successfully gained access to Diamond Platnumz, Rayvanny, and Mbosso’s YouTube channels because they were buying views through a bitcoin account that hacked them.

This argument is plausible because it would be easy for hackers to infiltrate the YouTube channels since they already had vital information to allow them to gain access.
