YouTube pulled down Diamond Platnumz and Jux’s hit song ‘Enjoy’ over a copyright claim by a musician from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).
Sapologuano Odeniumz has been fighting with Diamond and Jux over the copyright to the hit song ‘Enjoy’.
Odeniumz made a copyright claim on ‘Enjoy’ audio and it was pulled down.
The DRC musician also went after ‘Enjoy’ video was also pulled down on Thursday, September 14, 2023.
However, at the time of writing this article ‘Enjoy’ video had been restored on YouTube.
The video premiered on YouTube on August 7, 2023 and has already garnered 16 million views.
The Congolese musician said he would not allow people reaping big through his sweat and he will continue to deprive Diamond of sleep until they agree to sit down with him to sort out the copyright claim.
“Regarding them continuing to incur losses, they themselves wanted it because we would have sorted it out. All this is not there because we were writing to them but they did not respond to us until we decided to take the decision to report to YouTube,” he said.
After Diamond and Jux said that they are now evaluating legal action against Sapologuano, the artiste said he was not intimated.
“If they take legal action we will beat them legally as well, because they should not think that I am alone, I am with management and lawyers,” he said.
