Tanzanian gospel songbird Christina Shusho is in Kenya at the request of Eric Omondi who says he intends to revive the gospel industry.

Speaking at the JKIA when he received Shusho, Eric said he invited the Tanzanian singer to the country to restore gospel music which he thinks is declining.

Eric claimed that he feels that Kenyan gospel music is dying and that Shusho is the only musician who can help in the quest to revive God’s ministry.

“When I looked, I saw that Shusho is the only singer who has a call from God and can help us to get back to God,” Eric Omondi said.

Shusho took that opportunity in the conversation and praised Kenyan gospel artistes, saying that they are doing well even though she felt that there were shortcomings.

The Tanzanian gospel singer praised Mercy Masika, Daddy Owen and Guardian Angel and said their work of singing gospel songs is doing well.

Eric Omondi however differed with Susho insisting that only Mercy Masika was doing well at the moment.

Shusho said that the singing of gospel songs requires knowing God more.
