Diamond Platnumz has come forward to open up about something that a lot of his fans didn’t know about him one bit.
The ‘Jeje’ hitmaker disclosed on the Netflix hit show ‘Young, Famous and African’ that he has a 10-year-old child with a married woman and sadly, the husband doesn’t know that the child isn’t his. He honestly believes that the child is his.
Diamond Platnumz revealed that he had a one-night stand when he went on a show in Mwanza years ago and his efforts of trying to reconnect with his child have always been futile because the mother doesn’t want anything to do with him because she is still happily married and loves her hubby, and she doesn’t want to jeopardize that one bit.
“A couple of months back, my mum told me, she met this lady, I know this lady, and she said she has my kid but then, she doesn’t want to tell me because she is married, and her husband thinks the kid is his. My child is 10 years old.
I got the child with a married woman. It was back in the days when I felt like the world is yours. I went on a tour in Mwanza. I know we had a one-night stand and I heard after some months that she was pregnant,” the singer said.
Diamond Platnumz wants to be a part of his child’s life but his alleged baby mama who has already met up with his mother doesn’t want anything to do with him at all, she’s always pushing him away and Diamond Platnumz doesn’t want to lose him in any way.
“I have tried my level best to get connected to the child, but the mother keeps pushing me away. I don’t want to lose my blood,” Diamond Platnumz subtly lamented.
It’s only a matter of time before the paparazzi and/or the woman herself unveils herself to the public, and when she does, the internet in Africa will break. Until that time, just know and understand that Diamond Platnumz has a 10-year-old kid somewhere in Tanzania who might as well happen to be his first-born child.
