Diamond Platnumz and his Ugandan baby mama Zari Hassan have gotten back together for business, the couple was reunited by a new Netflix reality series.
Zari Hassan got a romantic relationship with Diamond Platnumz, who is 9 years her junior, sometime in 2014 – a year after divorcing her late husband Ivan Semwanga.
Diamond and Zari dated for about five years and were blessed with two children in the course of their relationship – Latifah Dangote (born on 6th August 2015) and Prince Nillan (born on 6th December 2016).
However, Zari broke up with Diamond for good on 14th February 2018 (Valentine’s Day) after she got tired of his continued infidelity. The Tanzanian heartthrob cheated on Zari multiple times, even siring a kid with Hamisa Mobetto.
After spending years apart, Zari and Diamond have since been reunited by a Netflix reality series dubbed ‘Young, famous and African’.
The Netflix series which is set to premiere on March 18th features a star-studded cast of the most talked-about male and female celebrities in Africa.
It follows eight African celebrities who have a huge social media following and who usually receive intense media coverage across borders.
“This reality series follows a crew of famed, affluent stars as they work and play, flirt and feud in Johannesburg, South Africa. Starring: Khanyi Mbau, Diamond Platnumz, Naked DJ among others,” Netflix said.
‘Young, famous and African’ reality series features;
South African actress, TV host, and singer Khanyi Mbau. She is also the sister of famous SA celebrity Lasizwe Dambuza.
South African mix master Quinton Masina who is popularly known as Naked DJ, Nigerian fashion designer Jeremiah Ogbodo, who is popularly known as Swanky Jerry.
South African millionaire and TV personality Andile Ncube, South Africa-born, Zimbabwean rapper Nadia Nakai and Nigerian model, actress, and presenter Annie Macaulay-Idibia.
And of course Diamond Platnumz and his baby mama Zari the Boss Lady.
