Diamond Platnumz has begun his music tour across Africa even as several countries report a spike in the number of coronavirus infection cases.

The 2020 Sand Music Festival in Malawi was a big success judging by the sheer number of revelers who turned up despite covid-19 scares.

Diamond and South Africa’s musician Master KG were the two music heavyweights who headlined the annual music gala which was celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.

This was the second time Diamond was performing at Sand Music Festival having graced the event for the first time in 2016.

Malawian fans didn’t disappoint as they attended the event in their thousands, the arena was packed to capacity as the festival was the biggest music event in the country so far this corona year.

Diamond was greeted with mad love from fans the moment he took to the stage to perform, the night event saw revelers lighting the arena with their smartphones as the Bongo singer thrilled them.

After Malawi, Diamond’s African tour will see him perform in South Sudan next. He is slated to perform there on November 26th.
