The KPL champions, Gor Mahia has agreed to sign the former Harambee Stars all time goal scorer after successfully going through two days of trials this week.
“I have trained twice with Gor Mahia and it turned out perfectly. I am happy that the coach has agreed to sign me and I promise to give him my best.” Oliech said.
Dennis Oliech together with Gor Mahia has agreed on a sign-on fee of 3.5 million shillings to be paid on two installments with a pay of 350,000 Kenyan shillings every month becoming the highest paid footballer in the country.
“We are happy to bring him on board for two seasons, as you know, we’ve been in search of a local striker and his signing is a reprieve. The coach was already impressed with him in training,” club Chief Executive Officer Lordvick Aduda told Nation Sport.
The contract that Dennis Oliech has signed is for two years.
The Kenyan all time goal scorer (he has 34 goals in 76 appearance for Kenya)and former AJ Auxerre winger is expected to make his official debut for Gor Mahia on January 9th in Kisumu when Gor Mahia will take on Posta Rangers.
