Country Boy released one of the hardest hip hop projects thus far last year, at least in Tanzania which cemented him as one of the best East African rappers in this generation.
Country Boy’s project ‘Yule Boy’ established him as one of the serious rappers to ever come from Tanzania and most artistes want a piece of him because he is bringing a new flavor to rap in a country known predominantly for a different genre; Bongo flava which is totally different from rap.
It’s safe to say Country Boy is the future of rap music in Tanzania having unofficially received the rap scepter from established, veteran rappers like AY, Professor Jay, Mwana FA, Chidi Benz, Fid Q, and others.
The rapper released the project that has 30 tracks on it which even for him it’s a first, he really worked on the album and put everything there.
On the ‘Yule Boy’ project, he features yet another rap artiste from Tanzania coming up rather quickly in the rap scene, Young Lunya on a record dubbed ‘Tell Em’ that sees Nigerian artiste, Zima Olaitan singing the hook of the song making it as unique as possible.
