In Kenya we have a fair share of female rappers in the game and only a few fits to be called the crème dela crème of the bunch and as much as Nazizi aka the ‘First Lady’ started it out many years ago, it’s safe to say that a new crop of female rappers has been dominating in the Kenyan industry and doing it good, really good at it.
I know for a fact that even the First Lady herself would be proud of DOM who is a young up and coming female rapper who has perfected her craft in the hip hop genre so good that I can only think and wonder who might have been her protégé in the music scene because whomever that might ne has done really good to sharpen her talent which makes her look like a veteran in the rap game than a rookie (Freshmen) she is.
The song ‘Move Your Body’ performed by the rap artiste is a statement that nobody should ignore because music connoisseurs like myself and other together with critics will agree with me that DOM is really going places and is here to stay for real and the singer Teejay only makes this song even more dope with his vocals.
She raps in Taita, English and Swahili and looks dope while doing it, Music Bank family has really got themselves a diamond in the dirt in DOM.
