Former Churchill Show comedienne Nasra Yusuf has revealed that she will help her husband director Rashid choose another wife when he decides to be polygamous.

The comedienne opened up about embracing polygamy while engaging her fans in an interactive Questions and Answers (Q&A) session on Instagram.

“Can you be a co-wife?” A fan asked Nasra.

To which she replied;

“Anytime any day. I actually don’t mind having a co-wife… it’s high time we agree that men are polygamous by nature. I wouldn’t tolerate one that cheats, if you love her, wife her up and let’s all live in harmony.”

Nasra went further to argue that it’s better to accept polygamy than live in denial that your man won’t cheat yet men cheat by default.

“Tukubali men will always cheat, hao unaskia wanaitwa “wabab” wako in their 50s and all they’re doing is cheating on their wives. What makes you think huyu wako wa 20 something na 30 something ndio hatacheat? Imagine if you find out that he’s been cheating, you’ll be devastated right? Sasa mbona ujipee hio depression while you can help him choose a good co-wife?” Nasra argued.

She added that;

“On the same topic, men are allowed to marry up tp four wives. If you go to a hospital and it is established that, you the woman, has an issue conceiving, but he is willing to still be married to you and still respect you and protect you from all the hate, please don’t deny him the chance to marry another one. If it gets toxic because of in-laws trying to put you down by comparing you to the other wife who can conceive, please pack up and leave. Usikubali kuwekwa chini ju ya kitu you have no control over.”

Nasra got married to Yusuf on May 25, 2021, after dating for three years. The couple was expecting their first child this year unfortunately the comedienne suffered a miscarriage.

The former Churchill Show comedienne announced she was pregnant on June 13, 2022, before she lost her unborn baby three weeks later.

She took to social media on July 4, 2022, to narrate the pain of suffering a miscarriage.

“Losing my little angel before I even met him/her makes it even harder to process ??I was way too excited for this journey,I had everything, from the name, to the sort of life he/she would have all figured out in my mind..ooh how I wish I just saw your little face my baby??but ALHAMDHULILAH..That is what I said when I first learnt about your coming,and it is what I said when you leftmay You be the reason i get into paradise amin….

“I am actually very happy that we got to share the news of your coming with our family, friends and fans who all loved you, I hope you felt the love from all of us baby? …

“And finally they say everything happens for a reason and I do agree, because during this difficult process,I got to see what kind of a man I was really married to..manze This man was broken, I’d never seen him that sad, but still, he chose to be strong for me, comforting me when he also needed to be comforted and going above and beyond to ensure that I got the best treatment.

“His constant reassurance that “babe Niko hapa,we will go through this pamoja and tutakuwa sawa pamoja “meant alot..hey babe,I appreciate you more now and I love you more now,and I’ll always choose you above anyone and anything,I always have and I always will @director_rashid,” she wrote.
